Editing an Existing Patient Profile

This can help you edit an existing patient profile

Accessing the Patients Tab

  • Go to the Patients tab, and open the View page.

Editing an Existing Patient Profile

  • From the Patients List, select and open the Patient Profile you need to edit.

  • In the Patient Profile, you'll see the following tabs for pages

    • Profile

    • Appointments

    • Schedule Appointment

    • Orders

    • Audit Log

In the Profile Tab

External System

  • In here you can edit the external system used and the external ID.

  • List of External System

    • Athena

    • Epic

    • Cerner

    • Allscripts

  • Once done, just click on Store External ID button to save.

Personal Information

  • In the personal information section, you can update the following details by editing the existing details directly. Click the Save button once done.

  1. Practice

    1. Select the practice from the list. Contact us if you can't find the correct practice in the list.

  2. Patient Name

  3. Gender of the Patient

  4. Date of Birth of the Patient

    1. You can input it manually or click on the calendar icon for a pop up calendar input.

  5. Address of the Patient

    1. Please provide a complete address.

    2. PO Box is not accepted.

    3. Please refrain from using abbreviations. Input the City completely. For the State, please use the State Code.

  6. Phone Number of the Patient

  7. Email of the Patient

  8. Account Number of the Patient

Insurance

  • In the insurance section, you can edit insurance of the Patient (Primary and Secondary). You can edit existing ones by directly editing the Insurance Form, or click the Add Insurance button to add a new Insurance form.

Add Insurance Form

  1. Payer

    1. Select the payer of the insurance from the list. Contact us if you can't find it on the list.

  2. Member ID of the Patient

  3. Priority (Select if Primary Insurance or Secondary Insurance)

  4. Plan Name

  5. Active (Toggle the button to mark insurance as active or inactive)

  6. Insurance Type (e.g. PPO, HMO, EPO, ...)

  • You can add a primary and secondary insurance using the same process. Once the form is completed, click on Verify Insurance Plan to initiate an initial verification process. The portal will show you more details and the status.

  • Click the Update button once you're done.

Note: You can only add one primary and one secondary insurance per patient.

Delete Patient

  • At the bottom of the Patient Profile, you can also find the Delete Patient section where you can delete the patient profile by clicking on the Delete Patient button.
