Cancelling an Appointment

This guide explains how to cancel or delete an appointment in the MedFlow IO portal. This process requires Team Leader approval before any changes are made.

Key Steps

Open Appointment Settings

  • Navigate to the appointment you need to update.

  • Click Appointment Settings.

Cancel the Appointment

  • Select Change Status.

  • Choose Cancelled from the list.

  • Refresh the page to confirm the status change.

Delete the Appointment

  • Go back to Appointment Settings.

  • Select Delete Appointment.
    ​

Important Notes

  • Two-Step Process: Always change the status to Cancelled before deleting the appointment.

  • Audit Trail: Once deleted, the appointment record cannot be recovered.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use the refresh step to confirm the appointment status has been updated properly before moving to deletion.
