Key Steps
Verify if Demo Cannot Be Used (If Demo has already been uploaded but not read)
Go to Patients
Open the Demo file of the patient
If the form is blank, click on Read Patient Demographics. Make sure the form has been filled with the correct information.
Check if the demo file does not match any existing patient profile.
Use the search bar to search the patient’s name, and the filters to narrow down options.
If you find an existing patient with the same patient details, select the patient. Otherwise, close the pop-up and proceed with submitting the patient form.
Manually enter or review all patient details from the demo file, including:
Full Name
Date of Birth
Gender
Address
Phone Number
Insurance Information
Once the form is submitted or the patient demo is added to an existing patient, the portal’s patient profile will open. Review the saved profile to ensure all details are correct.
Fill Out Patient Profile Form (If the patient demographic file is not yet in system)
Go to the Patients tab.
Select Upload Patient Demographics.
In the form, select the practitioner/practice, upload the demographic file, and add additional notes, if any.
Upload Demographics Button will add the patient demographic in the portal. You’ll find it in Patients View or DME Appointments.
Important Notes
Accuracy is critical: Double-check all manual entries against the demo file to avoid mismatched records.
Do not duplicate: Always search thoroughly before creating a new patient to avoid duplicates in the portal.
Tips for Efficiency
Use copy-paste for demographic details to minimize typing errors.
Search using multiple identifiers (Name + DOB + Insurance ID) before creating a new profile.
Keep the demo file open on one screen while entering data into the portal to ensure accuracy.
